Aaron Williams brings The Skating Club of Boston to the twitter-age

What is twitter?

Twitter is a free social-networking service - somewhere between blogging and Facebook - designed to keep folks up-to-date - to the minute, even - with the goings-on of their preferred people, places and businesses. Twittering thrives on frequent, simple responses to the ever-recurring question: What are you doing? The Skating Club of Boston's presence on Twitter (@sc_of_boston) aims to keep Club members and interested parties fully informed of Club happenings, from late-breaking news to event deadlines to invaluable nuggets of SCoB trivia. Please visit www.twitter.com for more information on the nuts and bolts of the service and to register your free account to start following @sc_of_boston today!

What to do

Go to www.twitter.com and register for a free account. Under "Find People", search for sc_of_boston and click "Follow". Under "Setting/Devices", you can link your cell phone number and receive messages on the go.

What if you don't want to use twitter?

No need. The Club office will continue to communicate with the membership as usual.
