Club Rules
Ice rules are designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all skaters. Skaters who do not adhere to our ice rules will be asked to leave the ice. The following are highlights of our ice policies:
- Skaters must be able to skate to the level of the session, regardless of their test level.
- All skating is done at the skater’s own risk — the Club is not responsible for accidents, etc.
- The skater whose music is playing has the right of way.
- Parent/guardian or caretaker coaching from the rinkside is not permitted.
- Children five years of age and under must be supervised by an adult who is on the ice.
- Sitting on boards or entrances to the ice is prohibited.
- Use of cassette, CD players, radio, cell phones or headphones by a skater is prohibited.
- No refreshments on the ice.
- Members have priority over non-members for the playing of program music.
- No harness of any type may be used by non-Club coaches.
