Center Stage of Boston
Center Stage of Boston is the newest member of The Skating Club of Boston’s Theatre on Ice family. The newly formed Preliminary level team is open to skaters up to 18 years old. Skaters must master the skills of Free Skate 1 in the US Figure Skating Basic Skills program, but may not have passed the Preliminary moves in the field test. Center Stage is welcoming new participants for the current season. Our Theatre on Ice (TOI) program is ongoing from September through June, with competitions and show performances during the winter and spring. The Skating Club of Boston offers special TOI memberships to all non-members. Center Stage practices at The Skating Club of Boston every Sunday evening from 5:00 – 6:30pm.
Center Stage of Boston is directed by Michelle Kravette. Michelle has toured with The Ice Capades, is a multi-National Gold Medalist with the Esprit de Corps synchronized skating team and has been a skating show director. She has many years of performing and coaching experience, and is very excited to work with Center Stage of Boston. Michelle is assisted by Heidi MacDonald, director of Encore of Boston; The Skating Club of Boston’s novice level TOI team.

- Skating Club of Boston Metro West Winter Exhibition December 18, 2011
- Send off dinner/critique at Skating Club of Boston March 9, 2012
- Ice Chips 100th Anniversary at Harvard University April 1, 2012
- Theatre on Ice Festival, Burlington, VT April 28, 2012
- North Shore Open, Peabody, MA June 1-3, 2012
